After work yesterday was cool. Got home and bumped into our neighbour. She showed us what her and her husband picked up for their house. It was a beautiful glass door insert for their front door. We liked it so much that we went and bought the exact same one. I'm hoping to find a photo so that I can show you what it looks like. We even managed to install it before the sun went down last night. With the help of our neighbour, he and hubby took the old insert out and the rest was a piece of cake. Yay!

This morning went to a doughnut store to pick up a little breaky on our way to work. Wasn't impressed with the muffin. The hot chocolate I had is good so far. Hubby said that the coffee wasn't good. Ah well, at least we know the bagels are good (from a previous visit). So I'm at work and I'm absolutely freezing! It's so cold in my section of the office. I wish I brought a blanket with me or at least had a heater or something like that. Damn it's cold here.

I forgot to mention yesterday that over the weekend hb and I went and picked a can of spray on window frosting. It works surprisingly well and it was easy to use. I'm very impressed. Today has been a mucho better day. Went to bed an hour earlier than normal and I actually didn't fall asleep on my drive into work. Hb and I drive in together, usually I'm the passenger so no I wasn't sleeping while I was driving.

This morning, well early morning, went by rather quickly. Every since 10 o'clock hit, it's been moving backwards - almost. I do have to admit I am getting work done, though not at this moment as I'm doing a quick blog. I hope the rest of the day goes by quick. On a side note, the bank of lights (just two) above my deck are off. Yay! I asked if it was possible and the person I asked gave it the okay and now it's not as bright, my eyes are happier now. Yay!

The weekend went by so quickly. I don't feel like I did anything all weekend, including getting some rest. I am so very tired this morning. If I close my eyes I'll fall asleep and that's not good. I don't understand why I haven't been able to get a good sleep lately. All I really want is one good sleep. I am having such a difficult time right now. I'm exhausted all the time. I napped on Saturday and wanted to nap yesterday but that didn't happen. Every time I tried to lie down something had to be taken care of so I never got to lie down. On a brighter note, friends of ours came by to see our new home Saturday night. It was really nice to be able to have a visit with them in our home. It just makes the whole 'you have your own home' thing that more believable.

Back at work this morning and I feel nausea. I don't know if it's because I don't wake up well or if I'm coming down with something. All I know is that the feeling was enhanced when I took a bite of my bagel this morning and it hasn't left me. Hopefully today will be a productive day and I'll get lots done. Of course I wouldn't mind being able to find all the files I need. I hope this feeling passes soon. A couple of my co-workers were teasing that I could be preggers. Nope, not a chance!

I logged into work and managed to catch up a little. Yay! Being able to log into work from home is awesome. I wish that I could work from home on a regular basis. On a side note, I got an invite for a gmail account!

I'm home from work today. Not feeling 100% so I decided to stay in. I don't know if it's from the vacation or what but I wasn't feeling well yesterday either. I did bring work home with me so all's not lost and I may still be able to catch up. It's back to bed for me. I've just called everybody that I had to call and left a msg. I feel bad that I feel bad. Does that make any sense?

First day back to work from being on vacation and what an amazing vacation it was. The weather was gorgeous and the surrounds were breathtaking. Went on an Alaskan cruise with my hubby, best friend and family. My aunt got married on the ship so it was a destination wedding with a vacation attached. The wedding was sweet. The bridal couple looked beautiful and in love. The trip itself was incredible. A lot of photos were taken and there are still a couple rolls that have to be developed. The majority are ready to be put up on an online album for family and friends to see. We just have to sift through the photos first.

Only a few more hours until I'm on vacation!!! Woo Hoo!!! I'm off on an Alaskan Cruise to see my aunt get married and then another week just hanging out with family. Yay!

I'm in such an irritable mood right now... Hubby and I are having issues with a company who put two unauthorised charges to our credit card. Because of these charges they maxed out our card. It's been a month now and nothing has been done. We've called the credit card company and told them they were fraudulent charges. We spoke with the merchant and they said they were going to take care of the problem. A month later nothing has changed and now the credit card company is upset with us. Unfortunately I can't do much about it because I'm not the primary card holder. It's bad enough that these two unauthorised charges have maxed out our card, but we just moved into our first home a month ago and we're going on a trip in a few days. We really could've racked up some points but now we're screwed over. I am so fed up with how long it takes to get things cleared up. It's been a month already. Seriously, are the credit cards taking their sweet time so they can make more interest on an program that has ridiculous interest? I wish there was a lawsuit against credit card companies for charging such a high interest rate when interest rates are so low.

And...the husband's back is out right now and he hasn't been a happy camper either.

It's almost Friday which means it's one day closer to next week which means it's almost vacation time for me. Yay! Next week, hubby, best friend and I are on vacation. We're going on an Alaskan cruise and we'll also be visiting in Vancouver too. I'm really looking forward to this trip though I have a feeling that I'll need a vacation from the vacation.

I am home sick today. The last couple of days my stomach has been in knots, I've been hot and cold, and just tired. I don't know why I'm feeling so crappy but I'm guessing I'm fighting off something. Hopefully, a day of rest will help a lot and I'll be good to go tomorrow morning.
